"this piece is about the body as a misbehaving ecosystem - sickness can be seen as a volatile 'glitch' of the body, an upsetting lapse in our obsession with control over mind and body. The digital process used links to how we use viruses as a metaphor for computer corruption - although we often see both our bodies and our machines as infallible, both are vulnerable to all manner of parasites and uncontrollable changes."
