(nexus)
(nexus) Launch is a multi-sensory event of experimental dance battles, cuisines and a party. (nexus) Launch is generously supported by Next Wave and VicHealth through their Future Healthy initiatives.
(nexus) is an experimental initiative that platforms under-discovered talent residing outside the norm. The mission of (nexus) is to ‘outbox’ ourselves by:
1) Creating an empathy-based community space to dive into the possibilities of discomfort in all mediums - stepping out of the conventional ‘box’ that is placed upon us consciously or otherwise.
2) Facilitating a motherboard of interdisciplinary exchange and research - cultivating infrastructure to support a culture of innovation, experimentalism and discovery across all mediums.
We invite you to come into (nexus) as you are: with an open heart and mind, be prepared to trial-and-error, be excited to shed-and-rebuild, unlearn-and-relearn: to be comfortable and supported so we can individually and collectively step into the discomfort of boundary-pushing journey.
